Rev. Calvin Spratley

Reverend Calvin Spratley was born in Carsville, Virginia. His family later relocated to Norfolk, Virginia, where he grew up. Many know him as "Cal", a man of many hands, big hearted, and one that doesn't mind serving the Lord with gladness. He is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Norfolk, a recipient of a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Elizabeth City State University and is now pursuing his Master of Divinity Degree.

Reverend Cal is the owner of Life Solutions Network and is an Independent Insurance Broker. There's much to be said about him, but one thing's for sure; and that is, he loves God and His people. He is a man that not only speaks highly of God's Word and prays fervently, but also one that demonstrates his belief by his love and kind acts towards others. Reverend Cal joined Mount Pleasant Baptist Church of Herndon, Virginia in 1997, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James L. Graham, Jr. He was ordained as a Deacon in 2002, and licensed to preach the gospel in 2013. In 2002, Rev. Cal answered the call from his Pastor, Rev. Dr. Graham, to serve as a Diaconate Missionary at First Baptist Church of Sycoline, Leesburg, Virginia, where he served for three years.   Currently, Reverend Cal serves as a Sunday School Instructor, member of the International Ministry, Intercessory Prayer Ministry, Missions Ministry, Men's Choir, and oversees the Hospital and Home Visitation Ministry. In addition, he is the Country Lead for Liberia and West Africa Missions trips and is a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Reverends' Institute.

For almost 20 years Reverend Cal has served faithfully as a Minister with the Sisters of the SON Ministries, where he currently leads our weekly prayer and intercession ministry. He was officially ordained by Apostle Tonya Jackson Smallwood in 2019. Reverend Cal has led numerous workshops at the Experience Imagine Gatherings.

Reverend Cal has two beautiful children, a daughter, Amanda, 40, and a son, Justin, 37, both of whom he cherishes very much. His favorite scripture is Psalm 23, the first scripture he learned in kindergarten. We stand in awe of God and His hand on his life and commitment to go forward, boldly proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To God be all the Glory!
