Minister Sandra Esther Kalombo

With God leading her through every step of her life, Minister Sandra Esther Kalombo was Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and years after her family relocated to the United States, she accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the young age of fifteen. After spending a few of her early teen years in Amherst, Massachusetts, Minister Sandra and her family relocated to Denver, Colorado where she began to serve the Lord as a young member of a Youth choir in a local church alongside her mother who was an elder and shepherd. She regularly attended Sunday School, sang in the youth choir, choreographed praised dances, and was a very active member of the youth ministry. It was during her time serving God that she began to receive visions from the Lord regarding her calling and prophetic words from a few servants of God affirming what God had already shown her. Sandra quickly rose to be instated as one of the praise and worship leaders and assistant choir director to the main church choir. Minister Sandra is passionate about God and has devoted her life to God in true worship and desire to be used as a vessel to motivate, inspire, and encourage the Body of Christ to worship God in Spirit and in Truth.

As Sandra grew in her relationship with the Lord and began to mature in service in the church, she was also appointed lead interpreter to foreign ministers who spoke French, Swahili, or Lingala. Upon majoring and graduating from the University of Denver with a degree in Economics and Finance and later obtaining her MBA, Sandra continued to Serve in the church and helped revamp the Finance department as an assistant Treasurer while building her career full time in asset management. Sandra was always taught to put God first in everything and that it only takes a mustard seed of faith to see a move of God in her life.

In the direction of God and her relocation to Northern Virginia in 2016, Sandra continued to serve the lord as a praise and worship leader and interpreter. In 2020, minister Sandra joined the Sisters of the SON and Experience Imagine ministries, where she continues to serve in the capacity of praise and worship and providing support in any other areas needed in the ministry. She is excited for what God will do through this ministry and the lives that are and will be positively impacted. Whether in ministry, work, or at home, Sandra strives to serve others, to be her authentic self and to express the love of Christ as a daily act of worship. She is grateful for the prayers of her family and friends – past and present – that have sustained her journey with the Lord. Sandra deeply believes that in unity there is strength, and she stands by the philosophy that states, “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together.” Hand in hand we will fulfill the mission that God entrusted to us!
